FlytBase’s Azure Blob Storage one-time integration is a part of their Cloud Media Sync feature, which allows for seamless synchronization of drone media to a personal cloud storage. This ensures operator privacy and convenience, as FlytBase does not maintain any copies of the user’s drone videos/images. To save and replay videos and images, the operator must set up a Microsoft Azure Blob account. Azure Blob Storage, on the other hand, is Microsoft’s object storage solution for the cloud, optimized for storing massive amounts of unstructured data. It can serve images or documents directly to a browser, store files for distributed access, stream video and audio, write to log files, store data for backup and restore, disaster recovery, and archiving, and store data for analysis by an on-premises or Azure-hosted service. Combining these two technologies, FlytBase’s Azure Blob Storage integration provides a secure and efficient method for drone operators to store and manage their media.
