1.) Unbox your Dronetag product. Inside, you’ll find the tag itself and everything you need to mount and charge it using the adhesive patch.

   

2.) Download and install the Dronetag app from the App Store or Google Play Store.

3.) Sign up on the app using your personal or work email and create a new password.

 

4.) Explore the Map screen displaying your device’s location.

5.) Tap on the top-right icon with a person figure to access your profile, where you’ll manage your aircraft and tags.

6.) Navigate to “My Aircraft”, then tap “Add First Aircraft.”

7.) Provide a name for the aircraft, this can be anything you want.

8.) Choose from a pre-built aircraft list or add a custom unit. Let’s go with a DJI Mavic 2 Zoom for this example.

9.) Aircraft weight will be auto-filled for pre-built options. If you have additional payloads, weigh and list items.

10.) No need for Aircraft UAS Class at the moment for RID.

11.) Enter the aircraft endurance or flight time.

12.) Once you’ve filled in the required information, tap “Create” to add your first aircraft!

13.) Next, we recommend you verify your email address – check your inbox for an email from Dronetag and follow the link to confirm.

   

14.) Now it’s time to add the Dronetag! Power on the Dronetag by pressing and holding the button for 3-5 seconds until all LEDs illuminate. It’s ready to pair!

15.) Head back to your profile and select “My Devices.” Your nearby Dronetag will appear with it’s serial number.

16.) Tap to add the Dronetag, and the pairing process is complete! Once it acquires satellite reception during an outdoor mission, it will start broadcasting and recording flight information automatically!
